Pretty Resourceful Communication Strategist
If you want to get your product talked about, hire a publicist.
If you want your brand to lead the conversation, hire me.
Hi, I’m Roderic and I craft corporate experiences that enable brands to influence culture, create impactful memories and be at the center of important conversations.
Public Relations is more than earning media, it’s about earning lasting connections with audiences. My PR philosophy is less about metrics - though not ignored - but takes a 360-degree approach to building brand value and reverence. I cut through the noise to allow brands to find their unique point of view and provide them with tools develop and amplify their distinct voice.
Kitchen Table Talk
Now more than ever, everyone has something to say and access to platforms to do so. With audiences becoming more and more fractured, brands are trying to find ways create experiences designed to engage consumers emotionally, bring feelings of appreciation and provide moments of surprise and delight on a one-to-one basis. Almost like inviting them to a dinner party.
But if you really want to connect with someone, is a dinner party the best way? Conversation at dinner parties can be performative and superficial. But if you come the day after for leftovers around the kitchen table you’ll find discussion that is authentic, spontaneous, intimate and truthful.
At the kitchen table you:
-
Speak with an earned point of view and perspective rooted in experience and authority.
-
Give voice to sentiments that, though felt by many, are often not widely discussed.
-
Unafraid to take positions that may not be in lockstep with what others are doing.
-
Create an environment for conversation where people feel supported, and acknowledged for their whole selves.
With these points in mind, I examine the brand's history, values, and mission, survey consumer and cultural attitudes, and tap into what audiences are talking about and what they want to hear to build content, experiences and tentpoles that authentically move brands from the dining room into the kitchen.
Let’s start talking.
